Usage Rights

Select the usage rights you wish to grant for these photos.

One-time, nonexclusive rights to the photographs and captions listed below for use on this website: www.sightpsalms.org and for delivery via email or other electronic means to registered subscribers.

In addition I also grant Discipleship Ministries/Upper Room the nonexclusive rights to use the photograph(s) and caption(s) listed for any derivative purpose of Sight Psalms whether electronic, print, video, digital or electronic publishing, cell phone, archives, etc. I further agree that any uses described may be made without additional compensation or consideration.

Further, I grant nonexclusive rights to the photographs and captions for use on Upper Room web properties and social media. For example, using the image with caption as an Upper Room Facebook post, or as the image at the top of the homepage of The Living Prayer Center, or for display on in-office monitors viewable by the public.

Make the above granted rights retroactive to photos I have previously submitted.

Discipleship Ministries/Upper Room will print an acknowledgement with your name in the following form whenever your photo is used: Photo by Jane Doe

You are encouraged to include a copyright notice on your photos in a small, sans serif typeface in the lower right corner of the photo or in another unobtrusive location. e.g. © Jane Doe

I hereby grant to Discipleship Ministries/Upper Room its licensees, assigns and affiliates, the right to use my image/likeness/photograph in the form that I have attached hereto, in all ways described above.

I understand that editorial changes to the text material (theme word and caption) may be necessary to meet publication standards and grant my consent to such editorial changes without the necessity of further review.

I certify that: each photograph submitted is original; is not in the public domain and I am the sole creator of each photograph and caption. I am the sole and exclusive owner of the copyright and all other rights for each photograph and each original caption submitted. I also certify that no photograph or caption submitted by me infringes upon copyright or any other right of any person, or legal or business entity; and I have the full right, power and authority to make, and enter into, this agreement and to grant the above rights and privileges to Discipleship Ministries/Upper Room.

Third Party Clearances: I understand I will be solely responsible for any and all other individual authorizations, releases, consents, clearances, licenses, and payments as may be necessary with respect to the use of each photo(s) and/or caption. These authorizations, releases, consent, clearances, licenses will be submitted to the Sight Psalms office before the photo and caption can be shared on “Sight Psalms”.

Scripture quotes do not need to have releases.

Indemnity: I shall indemnify and hold harmless Discipleship Ministries/Upper Room from any and all damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any unauthorized use of the photograph(s) by me or any party acting under the authority of myself, or any breach of the warranties, representations, or obligations hereunder.
